Naomi Chen is the pen name of a Singapore-based author of contemporary romance novels with equal parts heart and humour. A lifelong bookworm, she grew up inhaling stories and dreamt of writing one of her own until life circumstances and Asian parents pushed her into a more practical profession. She graduated with a law degree and now makes a living as a corporate lawyer (because, surprise, surprise, her parents were right and books do not pay the bills).

After turning thirty and realising her only published work lived in extremely unromantic legal journals, Naomi finally returned to her first love: writing stories about love.

She lives in Singapore with her physician husband, who is her biggest fan, personal hype man, and the not-at-all-subtle inspiration behind her fictional leading men.
